Candice Caesar

"I am a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. I come from a line of Army war veterans, my grandfather was a World War II veteran and my father was a Vietnam veteran.
I have always been a giver and thought what better way to give, but through service to my country. In May 1994, after 4 years of college I dropped out of the ROTC program at the University of Houston to enlist in U.S. Army
My military career ended suddenly with an accident Dec 5, 1999 in Germany, I sustained a TBI and Spinal cord injury C6-C7; L5 and S1 incomplete which left me traumatized and paralyzed. Doctor's told me I would never walk again. Leaning on faith, I returned to school continuing in the spirit of giving I became a Speech Language Pathologist. Since then, I have become a marathoner, triathlete and an archer.
When the pandemic hit, I was out running and fell injuring myself further. Being unable to run, I found my love of archery and have never looked back. I aspire to inspire others to move. God has truly blessed me and I want to bless others by sharing my testimony to at least one person in every state."
