BlazeSports America

Changing the lives of individuals with physical disabilities through adaptive sports.

We serve kids and veterans with physical disabilities including spina bifida, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, dwarfism, amputations, and visual impairments, among others.

Our programs provide our community with the opportunity to increase physical activity, create new friendships, develop new skills, increase independence and experience success in school and employment.

We’ve always understood the positive impact sports can have, from promoting life-long health and personal empowerment to providing successful futures for young people with disabilities. From the start, we’ve been dedicated to ensuring the quality, diversity and availability of our programs are equal to sports programs open to those without disabilities.

We believe BlazeSports’ commitment to equity, inclusion and the application of interdisciplinary, evidence-based practice fosters a culture of innovation and efficacy. By cultivating local, state, national and international strategic partnerships with like-minded organizations, BlazeSports America is advancing the equality, visibility and human rights of people with physical disabilities through sport.

Rock Climbing

One of the things I like about rock climbing is that it always gives you little triumphs. It also develops flexibility in the muscles and joints as…

Water Aerobics

Yoga

It is difficult to find balance without the ability to look inward, whether it is physical balance or balance in our daily lives. Starting the day healthfully can be as simple as breathing and stretching. An important component of a total fitness program is stretching. Add focused deep breathing to a stretch and you’ve entered…
