Foresight Ski Guides Inc.

Mark G. Davis and a team of terrific volunteers formed Foresight Ski Guides Inc. in 2001. Since then, thanks to the generous support of Vail Resorts, Colorado businesses and award-winning instructors, our team of dedicated guides has worked to improve the quality of life for hundreds of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. Through Foresight those individuals are able to gain access to outdoor recreational sports allowing them the same opportunity as sighted individuals to experience challenge recreation like skiing and snowboarding.

MISSION

Foresight Ski Guides’ mission is to promote fitness, athletic skills, personal achievement and self esteem for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. We provide challenge recreation opportunities by making snow sports easily accessible and affordable.

Foresight Ski Guides provides everything our visually impaired or blind participants (VIPs) need for a safe, comfortable challenge recreation adventure: Personalized itinerary and on-site greeter, specially trained experienced ski guides, lift tickets, top-of-the-line equipment, ground transportation and lodging assistance.
