Rochester Accessible Adventures

RAA supports adaptive sports teams and athletes in their pursuit of team and individual development. We launched the WNY Adaptive & Inclusive Sports Collaborative with Greater Buffalo Adaptive Sports with a unique model to ensure long term sustainability for access to a variety of sports across the lifespan for youth and adults with I/DD and physical disabilities.

Rochester Accessible Adventures is on a mission to improve the health and wellness of people with disabilities by guiding communities to create a culture of physical accessibility, social inclusion, and equitable open access in recreation, sports and tourism.

When individuals with disabilities and their family and friends can recreate together, we know we are doing it right! Our Community Health Inclusion consultative partnerships empower recreation businesses to offer their services to everyone, including individuals with a variety of disabilities, whenever their doors are open.

Rochester Accessible Adventures is community based and community driven. We understand that real change happens through collaboration and we partner with businesses, municipalities, service providers, medical providers, and other nonprofits to ensure people with disabilities and their families have access to active, healthy lifestyle opportunities
