Wasatch Adaptive Sports

Wasatch Adaptive Sports believes in the development of ability, independence and active living through recreation. We provide entry-level through advanced instruction of winter and summer recreational pursuits for individuals with adaptive needs and their families.

 

Through personalized assessments and instruction, along with adaptive equipment, we work together to achieve your goals and experience the outdoors without limitations. Wasatch Adaptive Sports programs focus on increasing independence and mobility in a social environment.

 

The mission of Wasatch Adaptive Sports is to encourage individuals with adaptive needs and their families to realize their potential and engage in active living through recreational, educational and social programs.

A 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, Wasatch Adaptive Sports (WAS) was established in 1977 to provide affordable recreational and educational opportunities for children, adults and veterans to share with their support network or family.

 

WAS requires no initial fee and provides full or partial scholarships. Our programs build strength, stamina, and self-esteem while enhancing the quality of life for all our students. State-of-the-art adaptive sports equipment enables WAS to offer its services to individuals with every type of disability.
