Hosted in partnership with Bike Instructor Certification Program
Thank you for your interest in participating in the Adaptive Mountain Bike Training! In partnership with the Bike Instructor Certification Program (BICP) and with support from the US Department of Veterans Affairs, this 3-day training is offered at no cost to VA staff and adaptive sport providers who serve disabled veterans (at no cost to the veterans).
Attendees will learn how to teach adaptive mountain biking using specialized equipment and instruction techniques. Please note, attendees who wish to earn the BICP Level 1 Certification must have (at minimum) first aid/CPR certification, 3 years mountain bike experience, and ability to perform trailside repairs prior to attending the course. Attendees who do not meet prerequisites are not eligible to earn the certification, however, they may still attend the course if space permits.
