Inclusion Trainings

Build inclusive programming in your community for athletes with disabilities.

About

By 2028 Move United wants 90% of the American people to have access to adaptive and inclusive sport opportunities. Pivotal to this goal is training sports clubs and community providers who do not currently offer inclusive or adaptive sports. By partnering with our nationwide network of 200 member organizations, Move United will leverage its collective expertise and adaptive resources to bring the tools needed to include people with disabilities into sport and community programs.

Whether you run after school programs, youth leagues or senior living center activities, Move United’s Inclusion Training provides turnkey information with actionable takeaways so more people with disabilities can be included. Move United works with organizations to select a-la-carte topics or to provide a pre-packaged curricula, curated by adaptive sport experts, to make systemic, long-term inclusion a reality. Tools include ready to use checklists, sport specific modifications and other resources that will allow you to seamlessly achieve your inclusion goals. Training will be offered online, or through in-person experiences of varying duration, depending on need.
