Matt Levine, Lieutenant, U.S. Army (RET)
Matt was injured in training and again while deployed to Iraq in November 2007. Matt says, “through adaptive sports I was able to adapt and overcome. I have now been able to run 22 marathons, 7 ultramarathons and shoot consistently in the 70s while golfing. Thank you for providing me these outlets during my recovery. You all definitely saved my life!” In addition to being a marathon runner, Matt is also an avid golfer and his future goals include running a 100 mile race and to be a scratch golfer (currently a 4). Matt lives in Virginia with his family and works for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
