Help support Move United Youth Sports

Move United supports sports sampling and encourages athletes to participate in a multiple sports until at least 12 years of age. Trying multiple sports gives more options to find the sports you enjoy and be an athlete for life. To learn more about the benefits of sports sampling, visit The Aspen Institute Project Play.

Additionally, Move United’s Education Program program is proud to support the training of adaptive instructors through the production of sports-specific manuals and conferences as well as safety and risk reduction information. Additional training material can be found in the Adaptive Sports Training Library, such as an Adaptive Archery Instructor Manual, Boccia International Sports Federation Competition Rules, and information on Adaptive Hockey via USA Hockey.

Move United’s Athletics for All task force has worked to create educational materials to increase extra-curricular sport opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities disabilities. These tools and guidelines assist coaches, athletic directions, school administrators with a variety of sports and can be found below. For a full listing of sports, please see the Move United Adaptive Sports page.
